Vintage retro 1970s House of Mesh purse Sterling made in Australia.
The strap length measures 25cm and the purse measures 19cm x 25cm. It has the original tag on the inside and the inner fabric is aging, I can see one of the mesh squares is slightly dented but hardly noticeable (photographed). All chain mail attached to the handle of the bag is intact. Clasp works well and bag seals completely. Some of the beige paint is chipping off around the clasp (also photographed - this could easily be scraped off and look fine) Bags were made so well back in these times it still has plenty of life in it for a new owner and is a sturdy bag that could withstand some nights out.
